Celebrate Love with these 10 Couples

Yea #lovewins

I’m so happy that on the same week I celebrated my first wedding anniversary, everyone in the country was given the same right. In honor of this joyous occasion, I’m celebrating my favorite couples…

#1-Prince William and Princess Kate

She is perfection, utter grace personified, he is a Prince, their children are cherubs, and I think they’re the future of royals for the modern time since they still seem real. And let me tell you, Pippa did not steal the show.

#2- Ryan Gosling and Rachel McAdams

Yes I fell in love with their chemistry in The Notebook, yes I cried at the end, and yes I still wish they had gotten married in real life, it would have been epic! Sorry Eva Mendez, you’re great too.

#3-Joyce and John

My grandparents proved to me, and all of their children, that love is timeless. My grandma being the badass that she is, was the one to approach him,. They loved each other and showed genuine affection toward one another until the end. Their wedding picture is vintage style perfection and their song, Mona Lisa by Nat King Cole, slays me.

#4-Lady and the Tramp

Uptown girl meets struggling boy, those puppy dog eyes, the spaghetti scene, *sigh*.

#5- Sir Elton John and David Furnish

This Rocketman married 2 ladies before he felt comfortable putting his true self out there. Since then, he and his long time partner, and now husband, have been huge advocates for same sex equality both in marriage, parenting and AIDS research.

#6-My guy and I

Obviously this had to be on my list but it’s true, we are freaking lucky, being born a half a world apart couldn’t keep us from finding each other :)

#7-Paul Newman and Joanne Woodward

Full disclosure, he is my favorite actor of all time and probably the most beautiful man that ever was and ever will be in my book. That being said, that is not the only reason I love this pair; their love withstood the test of time, they stayed together through thick and thin. They even started an organic food company before it was “in”. There are many well documented quotes about the love Paul had for his wife but my favorite is: “why fool around with a hamburger when you have steak at home?”

#8-Chris Hemsworth and Elsa Pataky

These two are so damn pretty they deserve the double pic. I have them on the list because they seem effortlessly cool, they are so hott it hurts to look, and I just couldn’t resist.

#9-Dice and Briohny

My favorite yoga couple! I think they are so cute, supportive of one another, and crazy strong! Watching them do yoga together is like a dance, they are so in tune with one another, it’s beautiful.

#10-Elizabeth Bennet and Mr. Darcy

What a classic! My favorite version is the Keira Knightley, Matthew MacFadyen one, sorry Colin Firth! Their love story in Pride and Prejudice was epic, and withstood many tests ultimately breaking the mold.

We all deserve love, we deserve to be able to make a commitment if we choose to another person, we deserve to find our other half.

Speaking of love, I’d love for you to share your pics and love stories in the comments section below!
